Is the following possible? I would like to have two columns on my welcome screen - one with the "featured products" (standard), and a similar column for the 5 "newest products".
In this layout example
http://www.slik.org/basicbeat/shoptmp/xcart/customer/home.php I would like the rightmost column to display the 5 newest.
I have not found anything in the manual about such a function. Is there a known solution or a patch for this? If not, I will hack it in myself, but I would like to do it the "right" way with smarty templates and I'm not that experienced with them, so I'd rather not have to reinvent the weel
