The products between our Featured Product Manager and website cms ones are for two different purposes.
For our featured products manager it's really for altering the look of your front pages fast, for making static pages into product display pages fast and for making things like side displays and so forth.
Featured Product Manager is a very fast install that doesnt affect your x-cart, you just add a single line tag where you want to control an area and thats you, you can then add products or HTML easily and quickly.
