Ok, I really can't give you a step by step as I don't use the Speedbar. Essentially the header is made up of table cells. The speedbar is build with graphics, so you can't resize it, you need to make the table cell that contains the speedbar large enough to contain it. So in the header, the easiest solution is to make the logo a background image and let the speedbar span the whole header cell.
