I would ask X-Cart about this as they managed to implement Cerdmanns Thumb plugin, (
http://www.cerdmann.com/thumb/ which this is based upon) to function the same as Telafirma's mod. Also, I think there was an issue as to whether Telafirma could encrypt someone elses plugin.
