Who says the image is the link?
What if you used a transparent gif as your link source - and don't have it go over the speedbar. You can also try an image map (not as cool, in my opinion). There are more than a few ways to get there. You can also try using a DIV. You can also slice the logo header image... I'm sure you'll find your best solution.
