Same issue here -
As illustrated in this thread -suggested fix doesn't work.
However going into the admin languages mod and editing the window there with this:
(specific to MY store path)
<img alt="" src="/shopsam/skin1/images/50-logo2.gif" border="0" /><br />
it does work -
