Did you back up the file?
If so, upload the old original file and start over.
If you DID NOT!, then download the cartware again from your login and then take it from the original zip file and upload to server.
Also, note that there are two locations where the search.php file are located.
Do Not rework the wrong one by mistake. This could cause realo issues as well.
