I just checked your web site using FF, and it shows up exactly the same way as mine did - BADLY (white background, gaps on either side).
The only explaination I can come up with regarding how we see the lights so differently may have something to do with the version of FireFox we are using. I'm using 1.0.7. Other than that, it's got me stumped!
