Adding Templates to Embedded Root Pages
 

Greeting,

I know that embedded root pages don't have the template but just a blank page. Is there a way to have the template show up for root level created pages like it does for the embedded level?

What I do to create pages that are outside of x-cart and want to have the template is I first create a html version of my site. If you have a lot of products just let it create a few. Then I open up one of those pages in frontpage and edit the middle section of the page and add what content I need. Then I save it into my site and create links that go to this page. Then if you want regenerate your site if you are planing to in html using the html catalog button. That way it looks like the rest of your website and you have all the correct links to your new page(s) in the html catalog version. I only do a few pages first as I have thousands of products but really you only need one to be able to edit it. Let us know if this doesnt help.
