is it possible to upload separate images
 
Is it somehow possible to upload separate images for thumnail and large product pic in the admin some were or does anyony know how to make a template mod to do it?

I don't like the resizeing that x-cart does plus I want to use a totaly defferant image for the veiw.

Yes. Just make 2 different size images. One for thumbnails and one for detailed images. Then upload the thumb in the thumb spot and the bigger image in the detailed image spot. That's what I do, I create a image 150 pixels tall for thumbs and 360 pixels tall for detailed images.

I didn't want to make 2 different size images by myself, so I asked x-cart team to make a modification. The resize image will process on web instead of on my computer.

how much did they charge for the mod? I may end up doing this also so i can continue to use detailed images... havent decided yet though.. i really think it should be a standard feature of xcart to have 3 levels of images though

$100. It's because I am not the person to add the products, I hire different people to do that. So I want the resize image happen on the website. Maybe they charge you less because they just finished mine. :)
