Just the Cart.

Allright, I had already designed a website: www.headsetinnovations.com one of the things that are missing is the shopping cart. As you can see from the page I want the features that x-cart offers. E.g. "Your Cart" "Order Status" etc... For my products I just want to use the pages that I already have and just use the shopping cart system. How would I do this with using the pages that I already have?

Best Regards,

i dont see that you have any content there apart from a template.

Install xcart and you will have a fully featured store to which you can apply your own template

Ok gotya,

again just install xcart and you can adjust it to look just like what you have there without too much hassle.

Youll get all what you have plus a bit more.

Youll find plenty of hints and tips in this forum just have a search for whatever you need to find out.

good luck

Thats not exacly what im trying to do here.
I already have xcart installed. What I like about xcart is some of the shopping cart features. What I don't like about it is certain ways it functions.
e.g.
I did a website: http://www.headsetextreme.com/
But the entire shopping cart system is located on another machine.
What I am trying to do with headset innovations is that I already have 80% of all the pages and php code written. What I want to do is just use xcart for adding items to the shopping cart, viewing items & checking out. Wtih all my pages completely seprate from xcart its self.

I think you have to use one or the other.

Its unfortunate if you already made most of your site as xcart will no doubt do much the same as what you made already but is a complete code.

by adjusting the skin files in xcart you would create a site that could look and work the same as what you have and have more features.

you can just add your products to xcart and change the look

If your experienced in php / mysql you wont have problems adjusting the core code to suit your needs.

You can easily add extra pages to xcart too
