Help me find these items in a template!
 

I've dug around in the templates and can not find where to remove or modify these items in version 4.0

Need to remove....
"Sort by: SKU Product Price Default " what template?

I also need to edit the result reurned page links

I believe you have to take the sort by out of the include/search.php.

not if your editing templates, you dont need to touch the php file most of the time.

i think the one your after is

main/search_sort_by.tpl

if you use webmaster mode it makes it easier to find templates
