cart products/category question
 

Ok heres my problem...

On my main page my 'feature products' dont show up and I want them to? Is there something I need to edit in which products I want to show up there? or does it do it automatically? Next question...

When I click one of my main categories, it shows the sub categories in the center of the page, followed by some products under those (subcat listings)... I dont want those there, I just want subcat listings then when you click to where I have products added I want them to show up there. Again any settings? or am I gonna have to edit some code...

Im sure something like this has came up before but all my searching on here netted me a gazillion pages. Sorry if these are n00b questions, but I would appreciate any help.

Featured Products on main page...

In the admin area in the Management menu click on "Categories". On the next page scroll to the bottom and you should see the form where you add the products for display. You can dd featured products to any category or sub category asw ell.

Sub categories...

What you need to do is move the products in the category to a sub category, when the category page is called only the sub categories will be listed.

Ok new situation... when ever I get to where theres no further I can go into a category... (e.g. - Main Cat. > Sub Cat1 > Sub Cat2 > Sub Cat3 ) it shows categories in the category module thing on the left... UNTIL i get to Sub Cat3.. then it leaves the category module empty... How can I have it where theres like a link to the '.../customer/home.php' in there so it isnt blank. Because its kind hard to navigate once you get that low.. unless you push the back button so categories appear there... anyhelp again Thanks a Million
