Gategory Images Not Displaying
 

Hi,

I've recently transferred my images from being stored on the database to being stored on a file-system and now my category images will not show up and if I do not define an image for a category, I have a persistent red X in a small box next to the Category Title....

Can anyone tell me haow to get my category images back, or turn them off completely please?

I too am experiencing the same problem in v3.5.9. I have moved my images to the file system and all images are showing. If I select a category image, the preview of the image displays, but when I press submit It somehow uploads the image in to my images dir, but does not appear to insert a reference to the image.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

This is not too clever, is it.

It seems that categories.tpl is not referencing the /images directory but I cannot work out hoe to change it.

I realise now as well, there's no G in Category!

Have you tryed to reassign the image to the category by going into admin > category > modify , etc... ?

no joy there, I'm pretty sure it's code that needs to be altered but can't pin it down as to what exactly needs changing

I too have tried to assign new category images and add category images to categories that had no image. Still no luck :(
