How do I change the size of Detailed Images?
Can someone tell me how to change the size of Detailed Images? :?: Also, is it possible to have a different size default Product Image for a single category?
Muchas Gracias. schorre |
I used Photoshop 7 to do it. Fast and easy and at the end all opu have to do is up-load to the server.
I select the option to create a Web gallery. and you can defyne the size of your thumbnails and the size of your detail Images and they will be store in separate folders for you. I hope this help. De nada, Ricky |
Thanks for replying Ricky. I know how to resize images in Photoshop, but my default window size for detailed images is 400x400. Wondering how to change that...

Chris,
As I understand x-cart caltulates that as the pictures are imported. For example my details Images first were 800X600. I did not like them I resize them using phtoshop to 600x480 and x-cart recalated the size of the image detail in the DB. Kind regards Ricky |
Thanks Ricky. I'll try it and see what happens.

I believe you can change the size by modding a template. Not sure which one off the top of my head ](*,)

Koning. Thanks. My real problem is that for most of my products, a 225x225 product image and 400x400 detailed image are fine. But now I am adding photography to the site and would like to have this particular category be a different size, say 225x300 for the small shot and 600x800 for the detailed image.
Does anyone know if this is possible, with a template mod or something else? chris |
Chris,
Did you try to import the pictures using the import option on the Admin? It will work fine. Here is what I did when I created the tab delimited file to import detail pictures 2 of my categories had the path to the pictures pointing to the thumbnails and the rest of them pointing to the correct detail images. Those 2 categories had the thumbnails displaying in the detail picture and the rest of them were correct. Here is what I did. I had to re-import my products and the clear the DB then I re-import the detail images after I corrected the path now all my images are correct. Try that and it will work fine. Kind regards, Ricky |
Thanks very much. I'll give it a try!
