Multiple reseller storefronts - one XCart installation ?
 

Hello:
We're using the X-Affiliate Add-on and have a few questions. We searched the net but weren't able to find any info on this.

Is it possible to have multiple reseller storefronts so that each reseller can customize the look of the pages, while using ONE XCart installation and one XCart database?

Is it possible to give the resellers the ability to choose which products/categories they'd like to display?

If you're using X-cart Gold, you can do this the different "looks" with my X-Affiliate Header & Footer Modification or with Cart-lab's Skin swap (you can find both on my store). My mod allows just header and footer changes configurable by the affiliate partners, the skinswap allows complete storefront changes that you create and make available to your affiliates.

If you're using X-cart Pro, you can do the selection of categories with a version of an X-mall I can implement (it's not a sellable module on my store since it requires modification of X-cart's code). I've implemented this in 2 pro versions so far. Neither are live yet so I can't give you an example.

To be able to do what you want to do, you'll need to either modify the code yourself, or have someone else do it (like with the modules I mentioned above).
