Email hosting for X-Cart?
 

I am in the process of upgrading our ecommerce site. We have been using an older version of Xcart 4 for quite a while now. We are considering upgrading to the current version of Xcart 5 along with other options as well.


One of my main concerns is that on my current version that we are hosting with another company they provide an email server to run all of the email for my domain. I am told that when upgrading to X cart 5 that will no longer be an option directly with Xcart on their cloud service.

I am curious what everyone out there is doing in reference to how they are organizing and hosting their emails while using the current Xcart 5 platform.

Perhaps the assumption is that store owners will either use M365 or Gmail for their email.

We're running into this too with clients. We provide email services, but they probably are assuming 0365 or Google workspaces.

We use Mandrill to send all emails from XC
