change x-cart 4 to xcart 5

can i change x-cart 4 to x-cart 5 free? if yes, i plan to delete old site and intall a new x-cart 5 based shop.

xc5 is not free, that being said there is a migration wizard that worked ok for me once i boosted my php limits
