Charging For product options

Is there anyway to charge a customer for filling in a "textarea" attribute?

I also can't seem to get the "attributes" to sort in a specific order. Any way to do this?

There is no option to charge a customer for filling a text attribute by default, this would require customization.
Sorting attributes is possible, see the screenshot attached.

Would you want to charge per character or just for filling it out?
