single product with multiple thumbnails & detailed image

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to xcart, just wondering could someone point me in the right direction here? any help would be appreciated.

I've been reading through these forums all morning but I cant seem to find any solution to my problem, hope I have'nt missed something really obvious. I am curious as to whether it is possible to associated multiple thumbnail images with a product and in turn have each thumbnail link back to a more detailed image.

When I diplay a list of products I would like to be able to display the first product thumbnail. But when you select a product from the list then within the product details page for that product it then shows all the thumbnails and by clicking on a thumbnail the corresponding detailed image is displayed (I've seen how to do this in a different post - using pop-ups).
So can it be done?

Or is possible to simply have many thumbnails associated with one product that have only one detailed image??

cheers
Will

It would take some modification I think to doing multiple thumbnails with detailed images.

You could somewhat hack it and make some of the extra fields paths to the other thumbs. You'd just have to play with the detailed images mod and see if you could link those thumbs to them after.

I haven't used the detailed images thing too much so I am not really sure.
