Categories on Top Menu
 

I am looking for a way to add a menu item to the top menu called "Catalog." When someone rolls over "Catalog" I'd like all my categories to apear in the drop down. I'm not really concerned if the Sub Categories of those categories show as well when they are rolled over. Either way os OK with me.

I did see the 'Horizontal Flyout Categories Menu' addon, but I'm not sure if this will do what I want it to. All of the images on the addon description page shows a menu that has what looks to be each individual product category listed as a main item on the menu. I can't do this because I have several other items not related to my categories on the top menu. Is it possible to use this addon to just have "Catalog" on the top menu with my categories as a drop down?

If not is there another addon that will do the trick or possibly some easy bit of programming?

I am using the Standard Template, version 5.3.

At the moment the module cannot do this.
However, I think a simple custom module can hack into the module's code and make it insert categories as a single "Catalog" item.
Didn't check the source code though, so cannot say how simple that custom module would be.
