switching from a 3 column to a 2 column layout
 

I initially installed my store with a 3 column layout and realized I need a 2 column, how can I change this?

You can run the install.php again but just install the 2 column skin instead.

how can I re run install.php?
 

I tried typing in the url for install.php but it reverts me to my home page. How can I re run install.php?

Install script
 

Make sure your CHMOD is set so you have access to the Install.php file. Many of us change the permissions of it so "hackers" can't access it. If it's set to 000, change it back to 644 or something.

Also, make sure you are accessing the page properly. ie:
www.yoursite.com/yourxcartdirectory/install.php

You must type in the .php or it will continue to revert you back to your site. Hope this helps a little. :wink:
