This may have been mentioned before but I could not find how to place the file.

At checkout I would like to show the Trust Logo

The instructions call for placing javascript in the head. If I am modifying a tpl how do I get the script into the head?

Are you saying I have to make a new file first?

If yes, I put that file in the skin1 file folder?
