Frames?

I'm trying to include an external computer system configurator into my store. The computer company says to use frames. Is it possible to use frames in xcart?

Thanks!

Anything is possible but some things are more possible than others. If you mean integrating this configurator into X-carts shopping cart functionality then this would mean some very serious modification.

Using frames will require a lot of modification as well and you may run into lots of problems.

Probably your best bet it to get a mod written by the X-cart developers especially for this configurator software. This would allow X-cart to import all the relevant info, thus bypassing the need for dreadful frames.

It may not be cheap but worth asking...

Worth posting the link to the computer configurator you are using, it may be simple but then again it may be pretty complex, hard to tell without specifics.

Right now I'm just making an html version of my store (one page) and putting the frame into it. This will suck when I go to change the skin later, but I can't think of anything else to do... :(
