Nobody does Affiliate Sales anymore?
 

Man it is so hard to find an Affiliate program out there. Is anyone out there using an affiliate program? The only one seems to be iDevAffiliate and of course the module one in the store, but that is so limited. Every user is automatically signed up and all share the same commissions rate. I don't want every single user signed up for the affiliate program....

Anybody?

I know there is a third-party module for X-Cart 5:

However, I can't give any feedback on the module itself. Perhaps someone using it can share his/her experience.

The module on the store does not allow for individual affiliate plans. Every user is automatically signed up and has access to send out affiliate links. No one wants every single user to have access to being an affiliate. Also, you can only set the commissions globally. Furthermore, you cannot have different affiliate links per product: One link for the entire site.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of other ready-made affiliate module for X-Cart 5.

It does seem like affiliate programs are not nearly as prevalent as they were back in the day. I don't understand why.
