Out of stock show just in search and direct link
 

Is there an easy way to add a option to the setting in

Store setup/Cart & Checkout/How to show out of stock products

the added option would be show in search and direct link


Would be nice to not list all the out of stocks in categories but if one searches for a exact product they get it in search as well as direct linking enabled.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do that, you will need to have this custom coded.
