E-mail Template Customizations
 

Can someone please tell me how to adjust the Invoice E-mail notification template?

In addition, how do I stop X-Cart 5 from mailing Invoices with the status (s):
- Awaiting payment

Hello.
Emailed invoice should be edited manually, its templates are located in the /skins/mail/en/order/invoice folder.
Store cache should be rebuilt after templates are edited.

You should disable the 'Order created' notification in the 'Store setup' > 'Email notifications' settings.

Just to check, if I edit the email template in the /skins/mail/en/order/invoice folder, will the customization remain in place during updates or will the update overwrite it?

During an upgrade there is an opportunity to tell the updater which files should not be overwritten. If you are sure that your modifications will not break anything, you can check the files that should remain in place.
