Static Page Link Titles?
I know how to generate the static page itself, however I seem to only get the .HTML file as the title for the link. When creating the page, the options of "Page file" and "Page name" are open. Figuring the Page Name would be the closest think to naming the link, it doesn't happen. No matter what I put in the "Page name" text box, the end result is a link that is "aed_news.html" I've tried searching the posts.
There's got to be a way to fix this, anyone? If you could help I would appreciate it. Duncan |
Static Page Link Titles
Doesn't anyone know what causes this problem? I have spent hours trying to figure this out. Of course it will be the simplest thing on earth. Please help someone.

Static Page Link Titles
I have posted now three times and I can't seem to find anyone that knows how to fix this problem. There has to be a way to do it. Please someone.
Thanks, Duncan |
Whatever you put in "Page File" is what the html file will be called.
At least that is how mine works. What version of x-cart do you have? |
Static Page Links
Thanks Emerson for responding. I am using 3.5.5. I put the .html file in the Page file, which ends up showing on the page as "aed_news.html" for the link to that page. Isn't there a way to get a link display that I specify, such as "AED News". The static section does allow for the "Page Name" also, but it only outputs the Page File .html.
Thanks, Duncan |
The Page File is what the html file will be called and the Page Name is what the link will show on the page.
If that is not what is happening, then there might be a problem with your cart and I would contact x-cart. |
Static Page Links
Yes, it seems there is definately a problem. I don't want to have to create a new lbl in the languages to link that link name. Thanks much
