Predictive Search Module Search Results
2 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone. I use the predictive search module in Busy Kitchen and by default it pulls from the product description. This is a major issue, and it shows too many results that are not relevant.
I've been stuck for days trying to get this predictive search module to not pull results from product descriptions. I edited busy_kitchen/customer/main/search_result.tpl PHP Code:
PHP Code:
I also edited busy_kitchen/customer/search.tpl PHP Code:
This is probably way easier than I am making it. I am sort of a noob when it comes to php so I was hoping one of you awesome individuals could help me! |
Re: Predictive Search Module Search Results
Which predictive search module are you using?
I would be surprised if you are able to accomplish this by editing .tpl files! I'm pretty sure you are going to need to do this in PHP. I recommend hiring a developer, dealing with search is not something that just anyone can do. |
Re: Predictive Search Module Search Results
I am using the X-cart's predictive search (http://www.thexcartstore.com/predictive-search-module-xcart.html)

Re: Predictive Search Module Search Results
This is not "X-Cart's" predictive search, it is Predictive search for X-Cart by The Xcart Store, commonly referred to on this board as TXS.
This is a third party module, not an official one, so only people that have this module will be able to help. I suggest contacting TXS support. http://support.thexcartstore.com/ |
