Version 5.1.11: security update, upgrade your stores asap
 

5.1.11 is released. It contains an important security update. Thanks to Daniel Compton @ Info-Assure and Yasser Ali for reports! For the sake of security we will not share in public the details of the vulnerability found, but we strongly recommend that you upgrade the store asap. You're welcome to contact us if you have questions or need any kind of assistance.

In addition to the security update, the new version contains several minor fixes:
-PayPal Advanced vs many products in the cart
-Coupons vs PayPal issue
-Bug-fix in the "Product Variants" module
-Upgrade from v 5.0.14 is fixed too

I am getting this error when updating:

ERROR: "0" (code N/A)
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away SQL query: SELECT t0.lng_id AS lng_id1, t0.code AS code2, t0.code3 AS code33, t0.r2l AS r2l4, t0.added AS added5, t0.enabled AS enabled6, t0.module AS module7 FROM xc_languages t0 WHERE t0.code = ? LIMIT 1 SQL query parameters: array ( 0 => 'en', )

Any ideas what is happening?

@TheSarcasmShop, you can run admin.php?target=addons_list_marketplace&action=cl ear_cache in order to receive an invitation to upgrade or wait for ~day and it will pop up automatically

@Dr. Bogger, most likely the problem is caused by the fact that wait_timeout parameter of your MySQL server is too small. You should increase it to 300 and it should fix the problem.

Do you see any errors in the xlite or php_errors log files in the <X-Cart>/var/log folder?
