Sidebar Categories 'title' Change
 

We would like to change the 'Categories' heading text in the sidebar.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am new to X-Cart but believe this can be changed in Webmaster mode then click on Categories and change the lbl_categories value to whatever you like.

The categories are not the problem, its the word 'Categories' in the top of the sidebar which I want to change.

Yes that is exactly how you do it.

-Start on Webmaster Mode.
-Open customer area in a new window.

Any of the green text is editable by clicking on it.

Sorry might be different for your version, not sure.

It seems that the Webmaster Mode could be a feature of non free version - as I cannot find it. So guess we will have to wait, prove the system first and they see what Xmas brings :)

You are talking about 2 different versions.
XC4 has Webmaster mode, XC5 does not have Webmaster mode.
In XC4 you can use the Webmaster mode to change labels like that.
In XC5 you have to use the languages section in admin to change what label says.

Following your theme of lbl_categories, then looking at cs_categories, I guess a rainy day in understanding the datacache editing would also resolve this.

I feel another play version will be created.
