My suggestion to implement this in X-cart:

Stop list
This section allows you to manage IP addresses. Customers with these IP addresses will be blocked on Checkout page.

My suggestion to ALSO add the following functionality in STOP LIST:

Stop list
This section allows you to manage IP addresses. Customers with these IP addresses will be blocked on Sign up page.

I am getting tens of thousands bots or whatever from Russia etc. sign up with these annoying fake accounts. Everyone is probably familiar with these fake "Acunetix" sample@email.tst using sign ups or whatever they are. Why not block them from the very sign up page instead of check out page. Do you think such "hackers" are interested in going through all the stages all the way to check out? I don't want to block IP addresses on the server as I may be blocking good people.

I would like the developers comment on this. If someone has a code how to simply implement this change please post.
