I need help in using the right hand space of this "footer" to provide customer with more information please. Can't figure how. :?

Looks like you have a custom skin named sale_store.
At the bottom of the page there is a div named bottom-sections. If you can determine what template drives this section, you can add another div inside it and add your content there. Try my tutorial on webmaster mode to determine the template.
