How to add images to product attributes in XC5
 

New to xcart 5 ... a lot of things to like, but can it really be true that some of the functionality of xc4 is missing from 5?

I am building a site where the products have multiple colour and finish options. We need to change the colour selection to show colour swatches instead of just a drop down box......

... I told the client this could be done as I knew it was possible (in xc4) to add images to options ... but this isn't there in xc5 ...and I am on a very tight deadline ....

... does anybody know how I might be able to do this?

Hello Jan,

Unfortunately, in X-Cart 5 it is not possible to attach images to product options yet.
You have to code this as a custom module until the feature is added into one of the future versions of X-Cart 5.

Unfortunately, it has not been custom-coded yet, Jan.
