SSL activation

a security certificate has been installed but i am unable to set the checkout to go to https - it says i have to buy a certificate

is there a way to set the admin and cart to force https?

I just checked your store and your checkout seems to be on HTTPS. Did you solve the problem yourself? If so, could you please let me know how?

we had the development site password protected - removing the permissions solved the problme
