How to Add Short description to Search Results
 

Currently the product search results include a Title, Link and Price.

I also would like to add the short description to the results.

I am a Smarty novice and would appreciate some pointers.

Use {$product.descr} which will add the short description.

For future reference - Use 'Webmaster Mode' which will help you identify all the variables being outputted for each page.
