Product options and wholesale pricing on products.tpl
 

Has anyone been able to figure out how to get wholesale pricing breaks to display so the customer knows the quantities at which price breaks happen.

I am also trying to figure out how to display the different product options on the products.tpl. I don't want them to be able to choose the options there ... I just want the options to show so that the customer knows that there are options available before clicking through to product.tpl.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Funkydunk already has a mod for allowing product options on the products listings page.

As for the wholesale qty breakdowns, this should be built into x-cart as it will display a table of quantities with prices.

In the 'modules' area of the Administrative zone (Administration box). You will need to enable the module 'Wholesale Trading'. You will then need to assign quantity breaks/pricing for each of your products via the 'modify product' dialog. Wholesale quanity break downs should then appear on the product detail page.

but how do you break wholesale quantities for purchase in say 100, 1000, 5000 amounts, as if I define minimum quantity as 1000, and define whoelsale prices for 5000, on the drop down menu, it only shows 1000 upto 1050!

Go to Admin--General Settings and select Appearance Options. Look for "Maximum number of selections in quantity selectbox:" and put your maximum value here. Word of caution, if you put too high a number this will cause some serious delay in the loading of your product page, and the drop down will scoll forever.

I am looking for a fixed quantity drop-down menu, where I can just put fixed values (ie: 100,300,500). This would alleviate the problem of having a huge scroll for larger quantities.

If you've seen any examples or posts about this feature, please let me know.
