Payments: Additional Text Field
 

Some of our custom payment options require the customer to provide additional information. In older versions of X-cart we set up "CC" methods and changed the labels, but in 4.5.4 I'm not sure how to do that.

For example a customer has an "in house" credit account with us. We would want them to provide the last 4 digits of their acct number so we can verify the information/sale. My original suggestion was that we instruct them to enter that information in the "Comments" Section, but it is not working out and is confusing many of our customers.

I would not want the field to be visible for all payment methods, just the ones I choose. And the label would need to be different for each of the payment methods.

Any thoughts?
