Making CC Number a required field
 

We are using manual processing in our store and lately we have had a number of people submit orders without putting in CC information. I would like to make it a required field, but have not been able to get an error message to come up to notify the customer to enter the information. I was able to place the star next to the field, but cannot seem to locate fill_error to include the cc info so that an error appears.
We are using 3.2.4.

i am sure a typical java form validation script might be the answer.
i don't know from experience though.

however, i will need the CC field required as well - and am a little suprised that is not an option for admin to select.

Any ideas anyone??? :D

in later versions it is an option to require it

if I remember correctly, there is a CC validation option in admin for 3.2.1 and up .....
or is it too many X-carts :D

The only thing I saw in the Admin area was an option to not ask for CC info during registration. I am new to this as it was set up by a company for us that no longer supports it so I sometimes have a difficult time finding the correct thing.

We'd be happy to look at it for you. If not us, one of the other X-Cart PRO's in the forum would.
