Add Credit Card Logo to Payment Method Page and Order Confirmation Page
 

Hello,

I use X.Cart 4.0.19. I also posted this under "Payment Questions" but I think that is the wrong place.

I am changing payment processors from PayPal to Authorize.net. I added this new payment method and configured it and it is working, but I want to make changes on how it appears on my website in 2 places. I have attached screenshots.

1. In my shopping cart, under Payment Methods, authorize.net now appears as the 4th option. The first option is the Paypal Pro option, which I will delete soon. For the first option, instead of seeing the words "PayPal Pro," you see the credit card symbols. How do I do this for Authorize.net so the cc logos appear instead of the words, "CRedit Cart Authorize.net: AIM?"

2. When the payment is successful and the invoice is shown on the confirmation page, when I used PayPal, on the top left of the invoice under Payment Method, it said, "Credit CArd." However, when I use Authorize.net, it says, "Authorize.net." I just want it to say, "Credit CArd." Where do I make this change?

Risa, This can likely be setup on the payment methods page. You should be able to find a page in your admin to configure payment methods, and select the POS or position of these methods. Look for a little input field where you can type a number.

Likewise, the name of the payment method should also appear on this page in an input box. You should be able to type into the box and name the method whatever you like.

Th images that appear, I am not familiar with this, too old of a version for me. :-) This would probably require some template editing. You would need to look at the templates that control that page, and find the code that makes the logos appear. Then you would look and see what "triggers" them to show up when the method is Paypal, perhaps it is based on paymentid.

Thanks for responding. That's my problem. I can't find the template. I do see where I can change the words that appear and the position, but not where to enter a logo. I tried entering html, but it got removed.
