Shipping method display

Any ideas out there to be able to get UPS, USPS AND FEDEX all showing on the same page instead of having to use the default dropdown menu to choose between UPS and "Other Carriers" as it is called now?

On one hand, it sounds good to have all the carriers showing together as you request (I've been told this requires customization from QT), but it might be a lot for the customer to digest and make the page long. On the other hand if you are going to have each carrier in a dropdown, why are there just two groupings (UPS and Other Carriers), this makes no sense to me. Each carrier should be seperate in the dropdown (I have UPS, USPS, and In-Store Pickup).

Sorry to vent here but I feel your frustration, something clearly overlooked by QT as to what "makes sense".

True, it may be a bit overwhelming. I think the idea of splitting UPS, FEDEX and USPS into each of their own menu choices makes more sense. The whole UPS and OTHER category is just silly.

I hate the drop down menu for each carrier. It's plain stupid. If you sell an item for $5.99 that weighs 3 oz, UPS ground wil calculate as one pound. The shipping would be $12 from the west coast to the east coast. The customer would leave your site right away. If shipping show all carriers including USPS First Class, the 3 oz shipping would cost only $1.89. I have many customers pay for the expensive shipping option because they do not see the drop down menu for other carriers.
