sales get pre-approved, not finalizing
 

I am trying the 4.5 version connected to x-payments and when trying to buy I get the money pending and then, if not approved: cancelled

I was told by merchant service that the cart is set not for sales, but for pre-approval

how can I fix it?

Sounds like you are set up to do an Authorization Only transaction NOT an Authorization and Capture transaction. With my set up (XC4.5.1 + X-Pay) I have it set up to do an Authorization Only transaction. Once it is authorized (what you call "money pending") then you as the admin have to go into XC and within the Order, tell XC to Capture the funds. In my case if you leave the authorization only out there tool long without telling it to capture, then the authorization expires. I think expiration timeframes may vary based on gateway/merchant provider.

That's what I have, but I want it to approve the sale - without me logging in and approving it else it expires...

Is there a way to set it up?

it is not a merchant setting - it is caret settings

So, if I understand correctly, you want it to do an "Authorize and Capture" transaction. This would happen all at once, so you won't have to go into XC to capture the amount. I believe the setting is in X-Payments on the same page where you configure the payment module. For my payment module there is a dropdown "Initial Transaction" that can either be "Auth" or "Auth and Capture". This is the setting you have to find, I believe.
