Removing left hand column from product pages
I would like to remove the left hand column on just the product pages of www.shopnaturally.com.au, leaving the column in tact on the home page and and the category pages and the static pages.
Is this possible? Where do I look? |

Re: Removing left hand column from product pages
Great videos. This site is running 4.1.11 and I only want the left column removed from the product page. It needs to stay on the home page and the category pages.
If I can remove it from the static pages too, that would be great. From past experience, my logic tells me that I would have to add something to the customer/main/product.tpl page to not display the left column and then alter this template again and also css so the main content area stretches over to also fill the gap left by the left column being gone. Since 4.1.11 is built in tables, I have no idea whether this is possible. I'm slowly preparing a fresh version of 4.4 so I can upgrade the store, so is this something I will need to wait to do? |

It is possible. This gives you a start towards understanding how to use smarty if/than to display html code on different pages: http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=60860

That sounds like where I need to start looking. Thanks.
