Removing columns on front page only in 4.1
 

I have stores running 4.1

What I want to do is to remove the traditional left column and/or right column for the front page of the site only. The middle column will then span the full width (or fill in the empty space). The left & right columns need to appear on the rest of the site.

Is this possible?

We'll be removing left & right from www.freez.com.au (4.1.6) and removing just the right column at www.sunnygirlbyfreez.com.au (4.1.11)

Yes possible. Some changes to tempaltes and css are required. Seems like you have few other requests here in the forum. You may think of hiring someone to do it all for you

Hi Steve,

I'd rather 'do' it myself, but I'm happy to pay someone for the code and direction / troubleshooting. I have a couple of other clients who may want to do this as well once they see the result.

In 4.1.11 is it possible to remove the left column on the product page, leaving it in tact on the rest of the site? The content on the product page will need to stretch across to fill the empty space left behind.

There is no "get it, copy it, paste it" sort of code for this. It all depends on the individual cart, its templates and css files.
