Creating a link to perform a search
 

Working in 4.4.5/4.5.0...

Is there a way to code a link in X-cart, such that when the link is clicked it performs an advanced search (products)? For instance, if I had a link on a static page that said "Piccolos by Bob", then when the link was clicked it would perform an advanced search with the following criteria: Category = Piccolos AND Title contains "Bob".

Please help.

Use the advanced search and at the bottom of the search results page is a link for the search which includes all parameters

So simple, but being new to X-cart (formerly LC) I missed it.

I look forward to being a more active participant in these forums. The old LC forums were pretty sparse, but X-cart seems to have a bigger audience. I hope to help others like you just helped me.
