Trying to change xcart logo to my logo
 

I have been trying for 2 days now to find the location where the xcart logo is so i can just drop a new logo, same size gif, in to replace it. the Logo on the site is as follows.

Homepage of Fashion mosaic blue
the logo at the top left called company name.

I am also trying to find the welcome banner on that page.

what i have done at this time is gone to the common files/images... found a file called companyname_small.gif the image it shows though doesn't look like the image on the front page but i can't find any other. Besides, that image, it won't let me replace. :(

If anyone can explain exactly where i can find the image, no coding, just the image so i can replace it with my logo, i would really really really appreciate it. I am at a loss now. :(

Right click on the image, view image, look at the source location.

I tried that but xcart has a layer over it that is a link. If you click on it, or drag it, all you get is the link to take you back to the home page. I am not sure how to get past that to find the address.

The image says Company Name and to the left is a dot with a half circle of sorts below it.

I suppose i could change all the logos i find to our logo til i get the right one (a thought) however they won't let me change them. Its like there are some hidden permissions or something keeping me from that also. arg!!!!

If you right click on the image (not left click) it will open a popup menu, select view image and look in the browser address bar for location

thats my problem. there is a hardcoded link above the image that xcart has placed there. I can't get to the image to find the location. If i right click it, the popup menu appears and asks what i want done with the link. open in new browser etc.

is there a way to get rid of the link? without messing up the cart? so i can find the location of the companyname logo so i can get it off the page? I just don't want to start the population without our logo, and definately start with this there.

Use Firebug - it will allow you to see the source code.

Thank you guys for your help. Frustration done :) Granted i made the logo the wrong size but as a graphics person, that, i can handle.
