creating pages?

Stupid question...
I made a contact page,
http://fixmysite.us/island_bangles/contact.php
and think itwould be better to do so within the x-cart system,
heres my first lame attempt,
http://fixmysite.us/island_bangles/xcart/pages.php?pageid=6&mode=preview
My question is, how do I put my styles and java scripts in the pages
<head>...</head>

There is already a contact form built-in to X-Cart - why re-invent the wheel? :)

I see the contact us form in the core options tab, but how do I configure and see the page on the web (all I see is a bunc of fields I can display or not, but how do I customise the page/ add a few custom fields>?

You can add custom fields to it in admin settings, if you need to modify the page itself you need to modify the template for that page. You can find which template using the webmaster mode
