Problem with Nested Menu Items and Fashion Mosaic Grey
 

We are using the Fashion Mosaic Grey template for our store. Our menus are the kind where you click on the arrow to the left of the category listing and all the subcategories then appear below it (sorry don't recall the technical name for this).

On our main page if you click on a category with a lot of subcategories, the category list goes past the light grey block and overwrites the content below it. On every other page, the light grey block lengthens automatically to accomodate the increased length of the list and keep the text from overwriting the text below.

I'd appreciate any pointers on how to fix this, as I'm stumped.

Hi Marcy, if you can include a link to the page so we can observe the behavior it would certainly help. I think you are referring to Fancy Categories/Flyout Menus, not a technical name just the one Qualiteam chose for their CSS drop-down menu.

If you drop down the "Hits" category which has a bunch of subcategories you'll see what I mean.

If you go to any page except the main page, things work fine.

Yes you fixed the problem!

We fixed the server speed issue for now. 60gb mail queue in another domain. :-P

So Mike, while you're being so helpful :-) is there an easy way to increase the width of the entire site?

Yes Maam!

In /fashion_mosaic_grey/css/altskin.css
I edited the following styles:
#page-container {
width: 970px/*90%*/;
}

.line2 .auth {
width: 770px/*80%*/;
}

.line2 .subauth-line {
width: 770px;
}

Though I haven't tested every page on the site, it appears to have widened it everywhere. Let me know if this is the way you want it and if everything is working fine.
