Exclude Products from Search
 

I have customized the category display template show that it does not show two categories in our store. They are only accessible with a direct link.

I want to create a set of products that only show up in one of the hidden categories. I don't want those products to show up in search results. Is there a way to customize the search routine so that it automatically excludes certain products?
