How to TURN OFF the xcart news in 4.4.4 ?
 

Hello,

I need to know how to turn off the xcart news feature in version 4.4.4 ?
I use xcart for my clients and don't want them to see this every time they login
I tried a few things but it did not work ?

does anyone know how to get rid of this feature permanently ?

You should be able to just disable the news management module in settings > modules.

but this news management feature is total a different feature for news sign up on store.
I know what you're referring to, the new xcarts from 4.4.4 came up with this Xcart News which is every time you login shows some links on latest Xcart news and this links take you to X-cart.com website...

I don't think that applies in this instance Phil. What the OP appears to be requesting is disabling the X-cart news from Qualiteam.

I don't see a setting for such, but in
/common_files/admin/main/main.tpl
I would comment out lines 91 through 115 and see if that removes it.

Thank you! I just removed the lines 91-115 & got rid of the Qualiteam news feature!
Man that was driving me insane...!
